Kenner, a renowned Brazilian footwear brand, is expanding its footprint in the U.S. and is seeking a passionate and experienced Community Manager in Miami to join our team. If you're immersed in the streetwear and sneaker culture, possess a deep understanding of Miami's sneaker and fashion scene, and have a knack for community building, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As the Community Manager for Kenner, you will play a crucial role in connecting our brand with the local community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leverage your existing relationships and local knowledge to foster connections with top sneaker shops in the greater Miami area.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing Kenner within the local streetwear and sneaker community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with non-profits in the music, art, and fashion communities in Miami, exploring collaboration opportunities and aligning Kenner with community-driven initiatives.
- Utilize your 2-3 years of experience in customer service, retail, or social media management to engage with our customer base across various platforms, including chat, email, and phone calls.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries while maintaining a positive and authentic brand voice.
- Efficiently prioritize and manage your time to balance customer service responsibilities with local community-building efforts.
- Implement effective strategies for multitasking and handling competing priorities.
- Demonstrate the ability to work remotely 2-3 days per week, ensuring productivity and maintaining open communication with the team.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues, keeping the team informed of progress and challenges.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service, retail, or social media management within the streetwear/sneaker market.
- In-depth knowledge and established relationships with top sneaker shops in the greater Miami area.
- Familiarity with Miami non-profits in the music, art, and fashion communities; existing relationships are preferred.
- Experience with or the ability to learn customer service platforms such as chat, email, and phone calls.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize customer inquiries and local community-building activities.
- Capability to work remotely 2-3 days per week.
